Anatomy of exit liquidity

Follow the money through a typical trench launch and the machine reveals itself. Block one: deployer seeds the pool and bundles their own buys at the floor. Minutes in: snipers and insider wallets are loaded. Then the marketing turns on — the tweet, the influencer posts (paid, disclosed roughly never), the Telegram raid — and real humans start buying. Every human buy walks the price up the curve, which is exactly what the block-one bags needed: price without sellers is just a number, but price WITH a crowd of new buyers is an exit. The insiders feed their bags to the incoming wave, wallet by wallet, while the chart still looks alive.

Count the winners and losers honestly. Winners, roughly in order: the deployer (bought at the floor, sometimes also holds taxes and LP fees), the snipers (machine entries, first out), the paid promoters (paid in tokens they dump, or in cash either way), and the DEX and bots collecting fees on every trade. Losers: whoever bought closest to the top with no one left to sell to. Notice the structure — it's not that the money vanished. Every dollar the late buyers lost was transferred, through the pool, to whoever exited before them. A memecoin launch with no product is, mechanically, a machine for redistributing money from the last buyers to the first ones. Sometimes the community is real and the ride is long; the plumbing is the same either way.

So here's the one heuristic that survives contact with every scam in this module, and it's the cheapest audit you'll ever run: before you buy, answer "who is the exit liquidity here, specifically?" Sometimes there's a real answer — snipers exited already, supply is spread, insiders are out, and you're making a priced bet on attention with money you can torch. Fine, that's the trench, eyes open. But if you look around the table and can't tell who the exit liquidity is — if everyone else seems early-er, smarter, or invisible — then the answer is you. It was always going to be you.
